The Home of Horseback Riding.

To many people out there horse or horseback riding has often been a life long wish, something they have always wanted to do, but never had the time or opportunity to do it.

It is surprising to see a great amount of older riders who have taken up riding lately, and as awkward as it may seem to both the rider and instructor initially, once the relationship is established things become smooth sailing, with both parties learning a great deal from each other.

Which brings us to the most important part of the subject, riding should be fun. If you are not enjoying yourself, you are in the wrong sport. No matter how driven you are to succeed, how passionate you are to achieve your goal, the minute you loose pleasure in your riding, you are in it for the wrong reasons.

Riding no matter at what level is a great social sport or recreational activity, the competition is for the arena and should remain there.

In a world and sport where wealth is considered to be both potential and talent, there are many greatly gifted natural riders who are overlooked by the training system that requires money to buy horses, pay for training, and not to mention the endless bills. It does not however mean that you cannot learn more, acquire a broader range of knowledge regarding horses, that you cannot achieve great rewards and success within other fields of the sport.

But mostly it means you can enjoy it all the more because you and your horse can just be, there is no pressure to always be your best.

Thought for the Week

The horse you got off, is not the horse you got on…

It is Your Job as a Rider, to ensure that as often as possible, that change is for the better.
